This market has been growing quite fast in recent years, emphasising the higher quality knotting and the influence of Pakistan in many finishing processes, such as to correct alignment issues where the weaver has drifted the wefts, causing the pattern to run out. These carpets are tightly knotted and often finished with an unusually bound multicoloured fringe.
